Impact of AIDS on farming: Press coverage from the BA Science festival, UK

The British Association (BA) Festival of Science is one of the UK's biggest science festivals. It attracts 400 of the best scientists and science communicators. This year, a special session "Africa's Rainbow Revolution" was organized on 8 September. The meeting highlighted science and African development - what can science do to tackle the diverse challenges that African farming faces? Mrs Annmarie Kormawa, HIV/AIDS Focal Point, CGIAR's Systemwide Initiative on HIV/AIDS and Agriculture (SWIHA), based at the Africa Rice Center (WARDA) spoke on the "Impact of AIDS on Farming" at the Session.
